Three Chiefs Ruled Out of Divisional Round vs. Bills

There will be no divisional-round matchup between the Chiefs and the Bills.
The Divisional Round of the National Football League playoffs is just around the horizon, but neither the Kansas City Chiefs nor the Buffalo Bills will be in full condition for their clash on Sunday.

The head coach of the Buffalo Bills, Sean McDermott, said on Friday morning that a few players will not be available for the weekend. A wide receiver named Gabe Davis is included on the list. Throughout his career, Davis has given several performances that have had a significant impact against the Chiefs. Additionally, it is anticipated that linebacker Baylon Spector, in addition to cornerback Christian Benford and safety Taylor Rapp, will not be available.
Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, grabbed the platform on Friday afternoon to deliver an update on the injuries that have been sustained by his squad.

Skyy Moore’s injured reserve stint is to continue for at least one more week.

Skyy Moore, a wide receiver who is in his second year of playing for the team, will not be reinstated from the injured reserve list in time for the game on Sunday, according to Reid. As a result of the fact that the team’s former second-round selection “tweaked” his strained knee during practice on Thursday, the head coach claims that the team did not allow him to play in Friday’s game. Moore caught 21 receptions for 244 yards and a touchdown during the regular season, which consisted of 14 games during which he played. Moore is currently in the process of finishing up the first week of his 21-day practice window so that the team may determine whether or not to activate him.
At the time that Reid was available to the media, he did not disclose a significant amount of information on the remaining wideouts in the room. Justyn Ross (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (hip/ankle) both did not play in the victory over the Miami Dolphins that occurred during Wild Card Weekend. Both players have been restricted in their participation in practice since the beginning of the week. In the event that one or both of them are available on Sunday, they would bring fascinating skill sets to the table to employ against a Buffalo defense that is currently struggling.

Wanya Morris and Derrick Nnadi to miss the Divisional Round

Reid also disclosed that the rookie left tackle Wanya Morris will not be participating in the game on Sunday. In Week 18, Morris sustained a concussion, which prevented him from playing in the Wild Card round. However, on Wednesday, he resumed full participation in practice after recovering from his injury. Unfortunately for the player who was selected in the third round, he was relegated to limited performance on Thursday and did not participate in any practice on Friday. While Morris continues to work through the return-to-play protocol, Kansas City will once again rely on veteran Donovan Smith to start the game.

In the upcoming game between the Chiefs and their opponent, which is a win-or-go-home game, nose tackle Derrick Nnadi will not be participating. Over the past weekend, the fifth-year player participated in only seven snaps before leaving the game due to a triceps injury. The defensive lineman Mike Pennel will at least partially replace Nnadi, who did not participate in practice this week. Pennel will be playing on the inside of the defensive line. According to Reid, Pennel, who is now a member of the practice squad, will be promoted to the active roster with the expectation that he will begin playing on Sunday.
