Givenchy's Creative Director Matthew Williams is departing from the company. Designer Matthew Williams will step down as creative director of Givenchy on January 1. Williams will concentrate on his own label, 1017 Alyx 9SM,
which he intends to extend with jewelry, shoes, and accessory lines. According to WWD, his final collection at Givenchy will be its Pre-Fall 2023 men's and women's collections, which will be presented soon.
