For all the young ladies watching her at the Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday night, Lainey Wilson had a profound message. 

The 31-year-old singer-songwriter claims to sing it to herself every day. 

"It's something I do every day; every morning I look in the mirror and tell myself, 'I am beautiful,' to all of you little girls who are watching and to those who are here tonight as well. I'm intelligent.

On Wednesday, Wilson would ultimately win five CMA Awards. In addition to being named the best female vocalist, she also took home the prestigious entertainer of the year title and the album of the year prize for "Bell Bottom Country. 

" She won music video of the year and musical event of the year before the ceremony for her work with Hardy on the song "Wait in the Truck." 

Wilson told ABC News' Lara Spencer backstage at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, the site of the awards ceremony, 

that she has embraced her self-affirmation ritual and urges young people to give it a try.
