NFL Fans Respond to Dak Prescott Remarks Made by Jerry Jones
To this day, Jerry Jones continues to have faith in Dak Prescott to lead the Dallas Cowboys as the franchise quarterback.
Prescott is coming off of a terrible performance in which he threw three interceptions in a blowout defeat to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night; yet, Jones is continuing to support his man at the quarterback position.
Jones made this statement during his weekly interview on 105.3 The Fan. "I completely believe that we have the quarterback that can take us where we want to go,
make no mistake about it, we have a quarterback that can get us there," Jones stated.We have a quarterback in Dak Prescott who has the potential to lead us to the Super Bowl.
And that is going to be the case moving forward too." A response to these statements was posted on social media by members of the NFL community.
"I think it’s pretty clear at this point that Dak is not the caliber of QB who can carry his team all that far," according to one supporter.Someone else chimed in, "He's completely lost his mind."
"Jerry Jones’ willingness to stand behind Mid QBs thru turmoil has to be documented," a another individual stated.
In their Week 6 battle against the Chargers, which will take place on Monday night, the Cowboys will be looking to get back on track.
