NFL Odds: The Vikings are the slight favorites for the home finale.

Following their loss to Detroit on Sunday, which ended their chances of repeating as NFC North winners,

the Minnesota Vikings are still projected to win in what will be their final game at U.S. Bank Stadium this season, barring something really remarkable.

The NFL Week 17 lines have been released, and the Vikings are a 2-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday night's game in Minneapolis. The game's over/under has been set at 45.5 points.

Back in Week 8, the Vikings defeated the Packers 24-10 at Lambeau Field. That was the game in which Kirk Cousins sustained a season-ending Achilles injury,

sending the team on a roller coaster at the quarterback position that has finally led to a 7-8 record and a spot on the outside looking in for the NFC playoffs.

Both of these clubs are still in contention for the NFC playoffs, but neither has control over their own destiny. The victor of this one will be effectively eliminated,

but they will still need to win their regular-season finale and receive assistance to make the postseason. Both clubs have 7-8 records after the Packers defeated Carolina 33-30 in Week 16.

The Vikings will be without T.J. Hockenson, who appears to have suffered a season-ending knee injury in the loss to the Lions.
