Winnipeg Jets Stadium Waivers by Dominic Toninato

The Winnipeg Jets placed forward Dominic Toninato on waivers on Thursday, according to the NHL's Waiver wire reports.

To meet with league rules, the Jets must have the 29-year-old pass through unclaimed in order to send him to the American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose.

Toninato was a routine AHL recall who was a listed healthy scratch on Wednesday due to Kyle Connor being put on the team's injured reserve.

Toninato passed Waivers on October 2 and has been on Winnipeg's roster for a month, which means he will need to clear once more in order to have a clean slate.

If a claim (or more) is placed on the Duluth, MN. product, he will instantly join the interested club, severing all links with the Jets' organization.

That identical circumstance occurred in early October, when Winnipeg lost winger Jansen Harkins to the Pittsburgh Penguins via waivers.

Harkins occurred to score the game-winning 12-round shootout goal for Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.
