Travis Kelce is familiar with both winning and losing emotions during an NFL playoff game.
Thankfully for Kelce, his Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 27–24 on Sunday night in the postseason. Josh Allen, the quarterback for Buffalo, was not as lucky; he lost in the divisional round for the third straight year.
Despite the win, Kelce showed Allen some grace by meeting up with him on the field to exchange pleasantries. The Chiefs player, who Mics picked up, told Allen he loved him and that he did an amazing job leading up to this point in the season.
This elegant moment was captured by Dan Fetes of Rochester, New York’s WHAM-TV.After enjoying his own personal and team celebrations, Kelce held off on speaking to Allen, who was still reeling from yet another heartbreaking postseason defeat, in a refined manner.
Bravo to the Chiefs star for handling the situation so well. The Kansas City Chiefs and Kelce will now travel to Baltimore to play the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC title game. Sunday at 3 p.m. is when M&T Bank Stadium is set to kick begin.
